Five Step Design Process

Step 1: Initial Home Consultation:
This consists of a no cost-free consultation meeting which we help us assess the best approach and design for your project.  We will ask a list of questions during this time and discuss your project, client’s problem, wants & needs, we will chat about budget and explain our design process.  This is to gain information for the project when we move forward.  We will not provide an estimate for the project at this time.

Step 2: Design Process:
This will consist of signing a design process agreement and a deposit for the design work process.  This is a separate nonrefundable cost separate from the cost of the project.  We will also take pictures, detailed measurements and existing condition of your project.  This may take two to three site visits.

Step 3:  Design Signing Agreement/Contract:
This is when we sit down and review the project details, payment schedule, job schedule and our anticipated time to start the job.  Also during this time we will sign the project contract and a deposit to start the job.  On our end this is where we will be finalizing drawings, applying for building permits and ordering material for the project.

Step 4:  Preconstruction meeting and start of construction:
We will have a pre-construction meeting with all the main players for your project.  We will go over the day to day aspects of the job.  We will address any special concerns you may have so we are all on the same page.

Step 5:  Warranty and project completion documents:
This will consist of all final warranty paper work and the process on any warrant issues that may come up in the future.  We also will take final pictures of your project at this time.  We value a long time relationship with our clients and look forward of many years of service with our customers.
